Route Sales

This document is an explanation of the Route Sales analytics report.


Route Sales

  1. To view the Route Sales report, click Analytics in the navigation bar.

  2. Hover over Routes in the drop down menu.

  3. Select Route Sales from the sub menu.



To change the date range and information displayed, use the following filters:

  • To toggle the information displayed on this report , select Toggle Columns and select or de-select columns as appropriate.

  • Modify the From and To date fields to display information from that date range.

  • To view Only Machines or Only Micro Markets, choose the appropriate selection from the All POS drop down menu.

  • Click Run Report to run the Route Sales report with the chosen filters.

  • From the Options drop down menu on the right, you can Print or Export the information displayed.

Explanation of columns in the Route Sales report from left to right:


  • Name: The name assigned to the route. The route name is a clickable link that opens the Account Sales page.

  • Cash Sales: The amount of cash sales for the route within the date range chosen.

  • Cashless Sales: The amount of cashless sales for the route within the date range chosen.

  • Sold: The total amount sold in cash and cashless for the route within the date range chosen.

  • Sold Cost: The total Cost of all sales made within the date range chosen, according to the product Cost set in the product catalog at the time of sale.
  • Cash Collected: The amount of cash actually collected during the route within the date range chosen.

  • Total Collected: The total actually collected between cash and coins, as well as the cashless sales.

  • Total Revenue: The income from sales for the route within the chosen date range.

  • Services: The number of times the route has been serviced within the chosen date range.

  • Service Avg: The average amount collected per service within the chosen date range.

  • Fills: The number of items stocked during the route.

  • Fill Cost: This indicates the cost to fill the machine within the date range chosen.

  • Margin %: The percent of sales revenue retained after costs within the date range chosen.

  • POS Count Avg: The average point of sales serviced during the route.


Explanation of the information displayed in the Route Sales graphs

  • Total Sales: This graph visually compares the cash and cashless sales by route. Hover your mouse over the green section of each route to view the exact amount sold in cashless sales and the percentage of sales that were cashless. Hover your mouse over the purple section of each route to view the exact amount sold in cash sales and the percentage of sales that were cash.

  • Machines Per Route: This graph visually compares the number of machines per route.

  • Service Average: This graph visually compares the average amount collected during services for each route.
